The Ivorian group BURNIN COMBO lead by Guessann Leyobo Nicolas, based in Drammen – Norway, was formed in the middle ‘80s in Derrierre Warf Tuff area in Abidjan-West Coast by three young men whom one of the front figure was Guessann. The band rocked the city of Abidjan until late ‘80s when Guessann had to leave the country to Norway where he is now a resident. On arrival to Norway, he formed a new band and incorporated new members to carry on in Scandinavia and has since then maintained same band culture. The song Louoboni is taking from their coming album. A song with good vibes that move any one no matter which language one may speak and it’s reggae galvanized within the African context and cultural understanding. BURNIN COMBO is ready to do small and big concerts, festivals etc. For further contacts & bookings: AMUN-African Musicians Union in Norway.
